Jannel Fiehtner led scoring for the Lady Horns with three points with one ace, followed by Justine Heeg with two points to her credit. We travelled to Bayard and took in the D-6 District Cross Country meet and talk about a large turnout of fans on hand to watch the runners. Cars were parked for long distances up and down the county road outside the Bayard golf course.     The Kimball Longhorns traveled to North Platte on Friday, Oct. 14, to battle the North Platte St. Pat’s Irish (6-2) for a tough loss, 63-14.
