    By mid-Monday morning, the Hubbard Gap fire in Banner County appeared to finally be extinguished according to Tim Newman, Emergency Management 22 director. Newman said, that "it's not burning but we're still here. We'll be here for the next two or three days; we want to make sure that we tie a bow on it."     A Kimball woman, Alexzandra Trujillo, 29, passed away Monday, Aug. 10, at the scene of an accident south of Kimball. The crash occurred on Highway 71, approximately two miles south of Kimball. Nebraska State Patrol first received a report at approximately 6:30 p.m. Monday. The preliminary investigation showed that a Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling southbound when it left the roadway, overcorrected, and rolled several times.
