The Potter-Dix Coyotes, just coming off a big 54-20 win against South Platte, were defeated by the Leyton Warriors in last Friday’s road conference game between the two rival schools. Potter-Dix swept through its competition Saturday to win the MAC volleyball tournament. The first team to be defeated by the Lady Coyotes that Saturday was the Minatare Indians. Potter-Dix won 25-8 and 25-9. Dawson Sharman had a total of 10 kills that match, easily making her the leader of her team in the game against the Indians. Kimball rallied for its first win of the season last Friday in Cambridge. The Longhorns erased a 13-0 deficit and came back for a 14-13 victory.
