The Kimball Volunteer Fire Department celebrated National Fire Prevention Week, observed from Oct. 6-12 this year, with its annual open house on Wednesday, Oct. 9. What a difference a few rains and 200 new water sprinkler heads have made at Four Winds Golf Course from mid-July to the first part of September.
