    The beautiful white, stately residence of Karen and Stephen Gilliland at 706 Marian St. was awarded the most recent Yard of the Week. According to the Gillilands, the British Border Garden has petunias, hollyhocks, blacked-eyed Susans, hydrangea, mint, fern, cosmos, columbines, iris and they are working on a rose garden in the backyard.   • Comeback Planned For Community Concerts

    As summer draws to a close, the community concert series is usually gearing up for their concert season, but this year there will be a little delay, according to the Kimball Concert Committee. The fall season is cancelled, of course, due to COVID-19. The current plan is to have the spring concerts as scheduled. The Chipper Experience is scheduled for March 22 and on April 17 Veritas will entertain.     Banner County School started the 2020-21 school year on Monday with a full day of school during a planned full week of classes.
