    The Kimball Dead Eyes Shooters 4-H club took home gold and silver medals at the 2024 Nebraska State 4-H BB Gun and Air Rifle Championships on April 20 and 21 in Grand Island. The Sporter Air Rifle team of Julia Winstrom, Karsyn Chesley, Ainslie Hottell and Chris Foster took first-place honors with a team score of 1,999.     Seven members of the Dead Eye Shooters 4-H Club participated in the 2023 Daisy National BB Gun Tournament in Rogers, Arkansas July 6-10. Team members were Karsyn Chesley, Anna Colemen, Sophie Coleman, Jalanna Krakow and Ainslie Hottell. Kody Carpenter and Tallyn Chesley participated as team alternates. The competition included two days of shooting in the prone, standing, sitting and kneeling position. Each position's target was worth 100 points for a total of 400 points per shooter. The...
