    The Potter-Dix Coyotes traveled to Minatare for a close game but they couldn’t quite pull off the win on Friday, Feb. 19. The Indians got off to a fast start in the first quarter adding 14 to the board and holding Potter-Dix to nine. In the second the Coyotes added another nine while the Minatare boys added just eight, bringing the halftime score to 22-18 in favor of Minatare.     Last Tuesday was a first for Kimball area emergency personnel when they witnessed Regional West Medical Center's Air Link helicopter land in the old West Elementary playground. The helicopter landed in what is now the Kimball Health Services North Campus yard as part of a landing zone training, though nothing was wrong with the normal landing zone, according to Kimball Ambulance Service Director Carla Goranson. Scoring was a big problem for the Banner County girls on Friday, Feb. 2, with just single digits for each of the Lady Wildcat scorers.     The Kimball Landfill has experienced more trouble from aging equipment according to a report given to the Kimball City Council by City Administrator Daniel Ortiz. Steve Pinkerton of Prestige Manufacturing began making repairs to the bailer that is housed inside the large shop. “It’s really showing its age,” Ortiz said. “It started operation out at the landfill in 1998 but we purchased it used.” Landfill supervisor Jim Schulte said the bailer dates back to between 1972 and 1975 and handles, on average, 3.5 to 4 million pounds of waste annually....
