The Kimball Junior High Girls basketball team had a busy final week closing out 2017 early in December with three games to finish out the season. Kimball’s junior high wrestling team ended the year with several grapplers placing at meets across the region. According to head Coach Klent Schnell, the year began with 11 wrestlers, but those were quickly reduced to eight due to injuries, transfers and eligibility requirements. Youngsters basketball gets underway with the first games set for next weekend. The WyoBraska League kicks things off for fourth, fifth and sixth grade boys on Jan. 6. The season will consist of three Saturday game days, Jan. 6, Jan. 20, and Feb. 3, with two games being played each Saturday.
