    For the second time in two years, injury has knocked Kimball wrestler Jonathon Withrow out of district competition—and a possible trip to state. Last year a concussion kept him from the big dance. This time around, the damage is more serious: a tear in his labral ligament that may require surgery.     The Potter-Dix Coyotes took third place in the MAC Tournament Saturday, January 19, with a win over the Garden County Eagles. “We didn’t want to feel the same as Thursday night.     David Gifford Banner County wrestler David Gifford went 3-0 in the 220 pound class to win top spot at the Lingle-Ft. Laramie tournament. In taking home the crown, Gifford extended his season mark to 20-4. Danika Daum Kimball freshman Danika Daum put on a show any veteran would be proud of over two days.     January 2012 Kelly Meehan-Ash, 24, is being tried as an assessory to murder in connection with the murder trial of Vencill Ash III. When the trial for Ash III was pushed back in date, the Meehan-Ash case was likewise rescheduled. Meehan-Ash made a request to her attorney, Donald Miller of Sidney, to be moved to a different facility stating that she did not feel “safe” in the Kimball County jail, located in the courthouse.
