The sixth annual Shop with a cop was once again a huge success according to organizer Erin Heidemann. More than 60 eligible students from Kimball and Dix were narrowed down to 43 prior to the event, with 40 participating, from 37 families, in the event. A seed planted in elementary school grew into a passion that took Ryan Deboodt to the jungles of Vietnam and beyond. Deboodt was born and raised in Kimball with three brothers and a sister.
