    The Potter-Dix girls finished second and the boys took third among Division 2 teams at the Alliance track meet Saturday, hosted in Scottsbluff. Southeast won the boys event with 108 points, while Lingle-Fort Laramie finished second with 101. The Coyotes took third place with 72 points, followed by Niobrara County with 70 points.   • Banner County has solid showing in Alliance meet

    Tyson Dahlgrin won the 110 meter hurdles competing against Division 1 opponents to lead Banner County Saturday at the Alliance meet, which was held in Scottsbluff. Dahlgrin won the 100 meter hurdles in the larger school division with a time of 16.09 seconds. He also finished third in the 300 meter hurdles in 42.59 while competing against Division 1 competitors.     Mitchell ran away with all of the team honors at Tuesday's Western Trails Conference Track and Field Meet with both the boys and girls winning team titles. Mitchell's Drew Gilliland was voted Outstanding Male Athlete on the day while Bayard's Jessi Smith won the same honor for the girls.
