  • Stolen property recovered in Colorado

    On or about August 20, 2018, a camper trailer and several other items were stolen from Oliver Reservoir, 10 miles west of Kimball, according to recently released records from the Kimball County Sheriff's Office. Days later, in Greeley, Colo., Jimmy R. Beets was arrested and the stolen items were recovered.     The Potter Dix Coyotes faced off with the Crawford Rams last Friday night, August 31 for their second game of the season. The Coyotes were able to hold their own during the first half with the score 12-18 with the Rams on top by six. The third quarter is where the game slipped away with the Rams out scoring the Coyotes 18-0 for a score of 36-12 heading into the final period. “We just committed a few mistakes that Crawford was able to capitalize on,” Coach Dale Frerichs said.     Cross Country runners had their first taste of the 2018 season with their first meet, Thursday August 23 in Scottsbluff. Your Kimball Junior High Boys were led by Braylon Miller with a time of 15:47 followed by Xavier Thomas-Lewis with a 16:01, Joseph Bremer with a 16:36, Joey Johnson with a time of 17:56 and Shane Zoppelli with a time of 23:49.
