    The Kimball County Commissioners approved and signed a letter of support Tuesday for the Kimball Housing Hub for the GBSD (Ground Based Strategic Deterrent) Deployment and Minuteman III Decommissioning project.     Kimball schools Superindent Trevor Anderson, in the top photo, sported the "Joe Dirt" look during Halloween festivities Monday at the junior-senior high school. In the lower photo, downtown was absolutely packed for the trick-or-treat parade that returned after a couple of years away due to you know what.   • Banner Students Participate In Land Judging

    Students and instructors from Banner County and 28 other high schools met near Gering to compete in State Land Judging Oct. 19. The North Platte Natural Resources District partnered with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service to host the annual competition.     Here's a look back at the Fall 2022 seasons to build on for the Longhorns football, volleyball and cross country teams. Lady Longhorn volleyball coach Jeri Ferguson said if she could change anything about the season, it would be the record, 4-22. She feels they did everything right, including volleyball time over the summer, worked hard all season, and had great senior leadership.
