    The Kimball Police Department made two drug arrests on Friday, December 6, in the vicinity of South Oak Street. According to Captain Justin Trout with the Kimball Police Department, the busts started with a phone call from a resident at 306 S. Oak, claiming that a gun had been stolen from the property.     Kenneth Eugene Taylor was born August 7, 1922 in Kimball, NE. His parents were Clarence Otto Taylor and Mary Elizabeth Phillips Taylor. He and his parents lived on the family farm south of Bushnell that Clarence had homesteaded in 1906. He passed into eternity October 24, 2013. Cremation has taken place.     The Kimball High boys remain undefeated on the young season running their record to 4-0 with wins over Perkins County and Morrill over the weekend. The Horns struggled on the road at Grant Friday night finally winning out 55-46 over the Perkins County Plainsmen, but had an easy run-a-way victory over Morrill at home Saturday night, 62-17.     A pair of wins over the past weekend extends the Kimball High girls win-loss record to 3-1. The Lady Longhorns won on the road at Grant 54-33 Friday night and defeated Morrill 48-36 on the home court Saturday. Kimball was whistled for their 10th foul with 7:08 left in the 2nd quarter at Grant with Danika Daum picking up her third of the night at that point, and at half time the Lady Horns were on top by a slight margin of 22-20.     The Kimball High Wrestling Team had two wrestlers crowned champions and had 7 wrestlers place as the Longhorns finished runner-up in the team standings of the 14 team Banner County Tournament this past Saturday. It was a great showing for the Kimball team made up of a lot of new faces to the program that coaches Wade Brashear and Bob Culek are trying to build.
