Dec 12 was the statutory deadline for signatures to be turned in to the Kimball County Courthouse. Buchart requested the petition that set the recall effort in motion. “We gave it everything we could,” Buchart said. “All of my spare time went into it.” The petitions will be shredded as required by law, he said. This last week we had a full week of games with another busy week ahead of us before break. On Tuesday, we traveled to Garden County and got our first win of the season, 24-21. This game was physical and had momentum swings for each team. I was proud of our girls and their ability to show growth and grit at the end of the game, when we needed to hold on to a lead. Definitely some learning points to take from the game, but the girls played well and as a team. Emmaline Tabor 4 ts 3reb JaLeigh Boha...
