    Trey Schindler, above wearing his Kimball colors, was one of three – count 'em, three – Longhorns who wrestled their way to first place at the St. Pats Tourney last week in North Platte. Schindler was first at 152 pounds, James McGinnis first at 132 and Cody Brinkman first at 120. Matthew Johnson was second at 106 and Justin Klosterman third at 145.     Kimball's Lady Longhorns basketball team continued its good start to the season by splitting two games against rivals Perkins County and Morrill over the week. The results moved the Lady Longhorns to 3-2 on the season with one game left to play in December on the road against 4-0 Hershey on Friday, Dec. 17.     The Potter-Dix Coyote basketball team has started well so far this season, with two relatively easy wins as the boys settle into the basketball season. Potter-Dix hosted Creek Valley on Friday and had no trouble opening up a big lead then continuing their momentum for a big win, 62-23 to start their season. They competed in the King of the Mountain dual tournament on Victory Training Center club team of their uncle Kyle Schnell, a Kimball graduate and former Kimball wrestler.
