The premise—a toy coming to life—isn’t revolutionary. But Ted breaks from the family movie norm. As a child, John Bennett wished his favorite teddy bear would be his friend forever. Now an adult, he’s stuck with an emotionally disturbed, politically incorrect, prostitute-fancying, smack-talking toy.
