Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
The Kimball Health Services Employee of the Year for 2012 is Dr. Trevor Bush. Amid enthusiastic applause, Bush received his award at Saturday’s hospital Christmas party and employee appreciation dinner.
His name was chosen by the hospital’s Employee Outreach Committee from among all employee of the month award winners in 2012.
Bush was the KHS Employee of the Month in December.
He was nominated by two employees, the first of whose nomination read, “ Dr. Bush has amazing doctor patient relationships,” wrote nurse Lori Cleveland. “He went above and beyond the other day by going to a patient home to give a devastating diagnosis. I can only imagine how that patient felt knowing how much Dr. Bush cared!! I constantly hear patients talking about how amazing he is and I completely agree!!”
Bush was also nominated for the award by Stephanie Pedersen, administrative assistant, who wrote, “Dr. Bush is always so friendly, has great bedside manor and is a great doctor. Whenever I have been in need of care or just advice on what to do he has always been there to listen and help out. Not only does he help you at the moment but follows up with you to see if it worked or if there is anything else he can do! It is so nice to know he cares. I know my son thinks he is the bomb and the best doctor around. Keep up the good work Dr. Bush!”
Bush’s award includes an award certificate, $50 in Chamber Bucks, eight hours of paid time off, an employee of the year pin and a framed photo in the hospital.
