Kimball center Mike Daum earns this week’s honor for his patient, tenacious and successful effort to recover from an injury suffered before the start of basketball practice. The junior has been back on the court in practice and will be ready for action this month.

Sherri Parshall receives a belated nod for her accomplishments at the recent KYN bowling tournament in Ogallala. Traveling with the Hometown Hardware team, she rolled a 608 series to earn a top ten in one division and a 1771 total to capture a top ten in another.
