Bushnell Bits

The Abundant Grace Free Store will be holding a garage sale on Saturday, February 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their location in Kimball (northeast corner of the intersection at the stoplight). They will be selling sewing machines, television sets, collectibles, dishes, Christmas decorations, and more.

The community center board meets on Monday, February 4.

The Bushnell Lions Club meets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6.

There’s a new business in Bushnell–Verne Hackbarth’s Flying H Towing is now taking service calls. In the future they will be able to move mobile homes and RVs, but for now they are towing passenger vehicles. You can call him at 308-673-5013 for more information.

The Bushnell Lions Club has calendars for sale at the Sisters Grimm. Stop by and pick one up for only $5.

Contact me to register for the “Cupid’s Pen” poetry workshop that Tim and Deb Nolting will be holding at the bookstore from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, February 10. Cost is $20 per person, and the class will be limited to ten people. We will also be making old-fashioned Valentine cards after the workshop–anyone is welcome to attend. Supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own as well.

For the month of February the bookstore will be open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays (or by appointment). Lunch will only be served on Sundays. This Sunday’s lunch special is chicken enchilada soup.
