Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Congratulations to Kimball High School’s January’s Student of the Month, Regan Hinton.
Regan has always been a strong-minded and committed student at Kimball High School with a 3.97 GPA. She has been on the principal’s honor roll all four years of high school, and has participated in a number of activities throughout her high school career along with receiving many honors.
Regan has been active in Volleyball for four years, cheer for three years, basketball and track for one year. She was awarded all conference and all state honorable mention in volleyball.
Regan has been a member of the Teammates mentoring program for five years. She was a member of the speech team for two years, and one acts for three years. She was selected to attend the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Conference in 2011. She is currently helping with the high school yearbook and enjoys taking pictures of her peers at all the sporting events. Regan was inducted into the National Honor Society last spring and is now serving as the NHS treasurer.
Regan attends the Kimball Evangelical Free Church and works for her dad at the Kimball Bakery. She plans to go to college next fall; majoring in Elementary Education.
Regan will receive a $25 gift certificate from the Lion’s Club and is now eligible for a $500 Lion’s Club Student of the Month Scholarship to be presented yearly to one of the “making a difference” winners.
