Faye Marie Kirby, 75, of Iliff, Colorado passed away Sunday July 7, 2013 in Iliff. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12th, 2013 at Tennant Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Jared Sonnenberg officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Faye Marie Hager was born March 1, 1938 in Sterling, CO the daughter of Lewis and Helen (McGuire) Hager.
She attended school in Logan County. On April 17, 1955 Faye married Kenneth Kirby in Sterling. Faye worked in the 1960’s at George Risk and at the Wheat Growers Hotel in Kimball, NE.
She later worked for Interstate Racing in Byers, CO, helping make the rabbits that ran on the race tracks in the 1970’s and also owned her own small business. Faye loved working out in the yard and spending time with family.
Faye is survived by son Rick Kirby and wife Carla of Kimball, NE, daughter Teresa Bradford and Husband Dennis of Deer Trail, CO, daughter Vicky Todd and husband Elmer of North Carolina, daughter Lisa Todd and husband Jim of Colorado Springs, CO, sister Mary Weibers and husband Ed of Fleming, CO, brother Ray Hager and wife Joan of Ft. Collins, CO, brother Hank Hager and wife Shirley of Sterling, CO, nine grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis and Helen Hager, and husband Kenneth Kirby.
