Keith W. Krafczik, 74, of Dix, died at the Kimball County Manor on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball with Pastor Virgil Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in the Dix Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. to sign the register book and leave condolences for the family. The services have been entrusted to the Cantrell Funeral Home.
Keith Wayne Krafczik was born in Laramie, Wyoming on December 28, 1938, the son of Gustave and Alice (Tallmon) Krafczik. He moved with his family to Potter and he attend school through Junior High in Potter. He then moved to Kimball and graduated from the Kimball High School in 1957.
He worked as a pumper in the oil field for 8 years and then worked for Antelope Gas for 4 years. He moved to Texas for a short time and then moved back to Kimball and worked for the State of Nebraska Roads Dept. for 25 years until his retirement. Keith loved following the activities of his children and was involved with the events that they were in. He loved watching sports and was a fan of the Denver Broncos.
Survivors include his spouse Fleda Krafczik of Mesa, AZ; sons Jeff (Debbie) Krafczik of Simi Valley, CA., Scott Krafczik of Chico, CA., and Roger Krafczik of Kimball, NE; grandchildren Zack, Ryan, Jennifer, Kayla, Juli, Seth, Sheign and Jennifer Waite. His parents and son Darin preceded him in death.
