Memorial services will be held at Cantrell Funeral Home in Kimball,NE at 10:30 am on Thursday Sept 19th 2013. With Pastor Amanda Esping officiating. Graveside services will be at the Kimball Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Neil in the Russell plot. Flowers are to be sent to the Cantrell Funeral Home. Donations appreciated and accepted by the family. A family and friends gathering will be held after the services at the First English Lutheran Church in Kimball .

Our Mother was a special lady that never knew a stranger and always loved her family. She had that unique quality many of us wished we had and rarely do.. she will be greatly missed by all she knew.

She was born in Hobart,OK on August 28th 1928 and passed from this world into Heaven on January 11, 2013. She was married in Kimball, Nebraska in September 1947 to Neil O Russell (pre-deceased her in April 1983) where she lived for over 40 years. She moved to Fountain Hills AZ in 1985 where she lived until her death this year. She is survived by her two children, Gail L. Beatty (born 1948) and Gary J. Russell (Born 1950) of Fountain Hills, AZ. She had three grandchildren, Mark Vowers, John Vowers and Michael Rasgorshek and three grandchildren, Kinley Vowers, Kaden Vowers and Jade Vowers.
