Shirley M. Kind 72, of Watertown passed away on Monday Sept. 2, 2013 at home.
Shirley was born on Oct. 5, 1940 in Scottsbluff, NE the daughter of Philip Jr. and Anna (Littau) Strauch. She was a graduate of Mitchell High School in Nebraska. She married Al Kind on Dec. 13 1969 in Scottsbluff, NE. Shirley was an LPN and worked at Bethesda Lutheran Homes for over 30 years.
Survivors include: husband Al Kind of Watertown; four children Terri (Tony) Roug of Glen Ellyn, IL, Renee (Tim) Pearson of Oconomowoc, Hazen (Linda) Kind of Sussex and Troy (Karen) Kind of Waukesha; seven grandchildren Alicia, Kyle, Elsie, Karin, Shantelle, Jordan and Jamison; one great granddaughter; brother Walter (Juanita) Strauch of Mitchell, NE; sister Dorothy (Herman) Nuss of Scottsbluff, NE; also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Memorials to the American Lung Society would be appreciated.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
