Ruth Evelyn Poole, born January 2, 1923 in Elmwood, Nebraska, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Darby Glenn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The former Kimball resident was a 50-plus year member of the Glenwood United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the OSU Mother’s Club, the Valleyview and Westmoor PTA groups and she loved her time playing in the neighborhood euchre club.
She was preceded in death by husband Robert Poole, granddaugter Joni, brothers Robert and Waldo Kacmarek and sister Doris Savage.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Jeff (Tammy) Poole and Dave (Debbie) Poole; grandchildren, Jesse (Jen) Poole, Kathy (James) Lowe, Kevin Poole, Nathan (Tamara) Poole, Angie Poole, Tracey (Greg) Daniel and Lee (Tara) Holdren; great-grandchildren, Tylor, Jeremiah, Anthony, Reis, Miller, Elizabeth, Rylee and KK; nephews, Richard (Sheila) Kaczmarek, Roger (Betty) Kaczmarek, Kent (Peggy) Savage and Steve Savage; nieces, Candy Ayers, Linda (Elden) Newberry and Diane (Fred) Sabus.
