Keller finished runnerup in the 113 pound weight class, a solid accomplishment at the huge, and always tough tournament, where it is very hard to earn a place.
Keller, a junior, wrestled 3 matches on the weekend winning by technical fall 16-0 in 5:10 over Sheperdson of the host school, winning by pin in 3:00 over Vossler of Burns, and losing 19-8 to Mowry of Saratoga in the championship match.

Coach Brashear had only six wrestlers representing the Longhorns at Lingle with four making it into the second day. Coach Brashear said “The two-day Lingle-Ft Laramie Tournament has always been a difficult tournament and this year’s event proved to be no different”. Injuries sidelined two Kimball wrestlers who coach Brashear hopes to have back this Saturday at the Mitchell Tournament that gets underway at 8:30 a.m.
