Linda Lee (Bauer) Adels, 66, of Melbeta, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at her home.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2014, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel in Scottsbluff with Pastor Ed Hunzeker officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

Linda was born September 19, 1947, at Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Jake and Pauline (Schott) Bauer. She grew up and attended schools at Kimball. She lived her life in the Kimball and Scottsbluff area. She married Harold Adels on September 4, 1987.
Linda's greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to paint and her children and grandchildren have many of her paintings in their homes. Linda enjoyed crafting of all kinds.
Linda is loved very much by her family and many friends and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her children, Rick (Kamn) Powell of Gering, Julie Powell of Melbeta and Jimmy (Brandy) Powell of Melbeta; grandchildren, Michael Powell, Randy Powell, Linda Bunce (Charles Newens), Ashley (Jardy) Moreno, Halee Powell, James Powell and Amy Van Buskirk; great-grandchildren, A.J. Powell, Amarie Powell, Kiley Powell, Channing Moreno and Paisley Moreno; sisters, Betty (Neil) Robinson of Scottsbluff, Jean (Bill) Britton of Melbeta and Donald (Virginia) Bauer of Scottsbluff; and numerous and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Pauline Bauer; husband, Harold Adels; brothers, Melvin Bauer, Jack Bauer and Paul Bauer; and sister, Lorraine Bauer.
