Tim L. Wheelock, age 49 of Potter, passed away in his home Tuesday morning, August 19, 2014. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M., Thursday, August 28th in the First Christian Church in Sidney with Pastor Pete Morgan officiating.
Graveside inurnment will follow in the Potter Cemetery. Friends may stop at Gehrig-Stitt Chapel Wednesday, August 27th to drop off condolences and to sign Tim's register book.
Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family to be designated at a later date.

Gehrig-Stitt Chapel and Cremation Service, LLC is in charge of Tim's care and funeral arrangements.
Timothy Lee Wheelock, the son of George Edward and Audrey Mae (Hillers) Wheelock was born at Sidney, NE on October 5, 1964. Tim graduated from Sidney High School and joined the work force and the National Guard. On July 6, 1985 Tim was united in marriage to Lisa Wieger in Sidney. Tim worked for Exeter Oil Company before starting a twenty year career with M & S Well Service and later worked for the Nebraska Department of Roads in Kimball.
Tim was very proud of his Military career and was a longtime firefighter and EMT with the Potter Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife Lisa of Potter; his children: Timothy J. Wheelock, Katilia Wheelock, Natoria Wheelock, Sierra Wheelock and Damian Wheelock and (1) grandson: Jimadya Lee Wheelock all of Potter; (3) brothers: Jimmie, Johnny and Robert; (6) sisters: Sheila, Beth, Mary, Cindy, Sandra and Kathy and numerous extended family members and friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, (1) brother: George and (1) grandson: Brayten.
