Kimball students raise funds for Hershey student with cancer

Students at Kimball Junior/Senior High raised $2,845 last week for Hershey High School junior Paige Larchick, who was diagnosed with leukemia this fall. The funds were raised by allowing students to pay for wearing caps and pajamas on certain days last week, and allowing teachers to wear jeans for $5. There was also a contest to see which class could donate the most funds, and a kiss-the-pig contest, where funds were raised by putting money in the jars for school administrators. The fundraiser was coordinated by the senior civics class.
