The Potter-Dix girls basketball team split a pair of games on the week, winning at home against Leyton and dropping a game on Friday at Caliche, Colo.
Potter-Dix 50, Leyton 30
The Lady Coyotes opened the week with a 50-30 victory against rival Leyton.
Potter-Dix took an early lead and held a 20-14 advantage at halftime. After leading 28-19 going into the final quarter, the Lady Coyotes outscored Leyton 22-11 in the fourth quarter.
Anna McLaughlin led the team offensively with 13 points, and also added nine rebounds. Audrey Juelfs had a triple-double, scoring 11 points, dishing out 11 assists and picking up 11 steals.

Caliche 72, Potter-Dix 20
The Lady Coyotes (5-1) suffered their first loss of the season on Friday, falling 72-20 at Caliche, Colo.
Caliche held an 11-7 first quarter lead, and then outscored Potter-Dix 61-13 over the final three quarters of the game.

Coyotes drop 2 games
The Potter-Dix boys basketball team dropped a pair of games last week, narrowly falling to rival Leyton and also losing at Caliche, Colo.
In Tuesday’s game, Potter-Dix rallied in the fourth quarter, but came up just short in a 49-45 loss to Leyton. The Coyotes (2-4) fell behind 16-7 in the first quarter, but came held their own and rallied late, falling by just four points.
On Friday, the Coyotes fell 72-39 at Caliche, Colo. Caliche jumped out to a 17-4 first quarter lead and led the entire way.
