Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
The Kimball County Farm Service Agency will host a Farm Bill informational meeting on Thursday, Jan. 22, at 7 a.m. at Kimball Eagles Club, located at 216 S. Chestnut in Kimball. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Meeting attendees will learn about Farm Service Agency (FSA) Farm Bill programs including the one-time option to Reallocate Base Acres and/or Update Payment Yields, the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) Programs, the Price Loss Coverage (PLC) Program, Payment Eligibility and Conservation Compliance Provisions.
Producers are highly encouraged to attend as there are several program options and producers will have only one opportunity to choose which option best fits their farming operation for the life of the 5-year Farm Bill.
