The Banner County girls basketball team dropped games to Hay Springs and Hemingford over the weekend.
Hay Springs 49, Banner County 27
Hay Springs jumped to the early lead and went on to defeat Banner County, 49-27, on Friday.
The Lady Wildcats (1-9) fell behind 24-9 at the half and trailed 39-15 heading into the fourth quarter.
Taylor Evans led the team with eight points and four blocks, while Ashlynne Hanan added six points. MaKenna Dahlgrin, Savannah Jordan and Evans each grabbed four rebounds for the Lady Wildcats.

Paige Cross scored eight points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead Banner County in a 63-20 road loss Saturday to Hemingford.
The Lady Bobcats (8-2) jumped out to a 24-2 first quarter lead and had a 40-7 halftime advantage.
Dahlgrin added seven points and eight rebounds, while Savannah Jordan had a team-high four steals.
The Lady Wildcats travel on Friday to face Crawford, before returning home Saturday to host Minatare.
