Banner County boys drub South Platte

Banner County raced out to the early lead and went on to defeat South Platte, 66-52, on Friday night.

Kadan Huber started things off with a trey less than a minute into the game, and Tyson Dahlgrin added a layup for a 5-0 lead with 6:12 left in the opening quarter.

The Knights (1-13) closed the gap to 7-5 near the midway point of the quarter, but the Wildcats (4-11) pulled away. Banner outscored its visitor 13-4 to end the frame with a comfortable lead.
