Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Leland Lee Hall, 89, formerly of Kimball, and of La Porte, Colo., died March 2, 2015 at the McKee Hospital in Loveland, Colo. He was the father of Jean Jackson of Kimball.
Leland was born Sept. 17, 1925 in Wayne County, Ill., to Leo and Etta Hall and was the youngest of five children. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great and great-great grandfather. He lived in many places, including Illinois, Nebraska, Montana, North Dakota and Colorado.
He retired from Mobil Oil in 1986 in Montana. He was a World War II veteran, and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by daughter Vera Jean Jackson of Kimball; grandson, Roger Rasgorshek (Trish) formerly of Kimball; great grandchildren, Rodney Rasgorshek (Rhonda) of Kimball and Kacey Rasgorshek (Craig Hoppes) of Lincoln; and great-great grandchildren, Tayden Rasgorshek, Jaxten Hoppes and Maddison Merryfield.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Hall, parents, brothers and a sister.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 6, at Bohlenders Funeral Chapel, located at 121 W. Olive St. in Fort Collins, Colo. Memorial contributions may be made in Leland’s name to Pathway Hospice, located at 305 Carpenter Road, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
