Banner County High School graduate Juewl Simonton, a member of the class of 2015, has been awarded a $1,000 Banner County School Foundation Van Pelt Bakken Scholarship. Simonton is the daughter of Diana Simonton. She plans to attend Western Nebraska Community College in the fall and major in medical technology.
