Year in teaching: 12th.
Grade teaching: Kindergarten.
Hometown: Kimball.
Family: Rich, husband; Emma, daughter.
Why did you get into teaching? I had some great teachers growing up that influenced me in becoming a teacher, especially my first grade teachers!
What are you looking forward to most this year? Being back in the classroom with the little darlings.
What do you feel will be most challenging? Most rewarding? It's been eight years since I taught last and things have changed, but hopefully it will all come back to me. The best part is being part of a child's "AHA" moment.
Will you be involved in any additional activities? Eco-club.
Additional comments: I'm glad to be back in the Kimball Public School System!

School teaches at: Mary Lynch Elementary School.
Year in teaching: First.
Grade teaching: Kindergarten.
Hometown: Stromsburg.
Family: Toby, husband.
Why did you get into teaching? I have always wanted to become an elementary teacher because I want to make a difference in all children's lives. I want to use my knowledge to help them grow and become well rounded people of the future. I feel that a lot of children have gotten lost in the mix; I feel that I can be one of those people who work to pull those children out of the cracks and help them to excel and grow along with their peers.
What are you looking forward to most this year? I am looking forward to becoming a part of the Kimball and KPS communities and watching my students grow as individuals and learners.
What do you feel will be most challenging? Most rewarding? I think the most challenging aspects of my job are yet to be uncovered. If I had to guess, I would say that simply getting a routine down with my students will be more difficult than it might seem. The most rewarding thing will be seeing my students eyes light up when they discover something new.
Will you be involved in any additional activities? I will not be sponsoring or coaching any additional activities this year.
