Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Congratulations to Kimball High School's September Student of the Month, Christopher Pile.
Throughout high school, Chris has been involved in many activities. For four years he has been playing saxophone in band and jazz band. He has also been taking piano lessons and playing the piano for as long as he can remember. Chris has been involved in Interact Club for four years and was an officer for one year. He has also been heavily involved in sports only not as a player. Chris has served as a manager the past four years, taking care of the players' and coaches' needs in both football and basketball.
Chris is really interested in the medical field and took an Emergency Medical Technician class last summer. He has passed his state boards and is working on passing his national boards. Chris wants to attend a community college and get his associates degree and a certification to become a paramedic. His ultimate goal is to be a flight medic.
Chris will receive a $25 gift certificate from the Lions Club and is now eligible for a $500 Lions Club Student of the Month Scholarship to be presented yearly to one of the "making a difference" winners.
We are very proud to have Chris Pile as a student at Kimball Junior/Senior High School and one who is "making a difference."
