3 Banner County runners medal at Bayard meet

Banner County had three runners medal last week at the Bayard cross country Invitational.

Courtney Knisley finished seventh in the varsity girls race with a time of 21:46. She once again medaled in the meet. Knisley was not too far behind the winner, Sabrina Juma of Torrington (Wyo.), who took the top spot in 20:26.

In the boys varsity race, Micah Wicker finished 36th in 21:14 and Josh Boston took 46th place in 22:17. Jorge Garcia of Pine Bluffs (Wyo.) won the race in 16:32.

Kylie Lohrer medaled in the girls junior high race, finishing ninth in 12:35.
