Lady Wildcats pick up second win

The Banner County volleyball team picked up its second win of the season last week as it topped Sioux County in the Morrill tournament.

The Lady Wildcats opened play in the Saturday tournament with a 2-1 win over Sioux County. They won by scores of 24-26, 25-10 and 25-13.

Paige Cross led the team offensively with nine kills, while MaKenna Dahlgrin chipped in with seven kills and two blocks. Shay White led the way with three aces. Savannah Jordan and Cross had six assists each.

The Lady Wildcats then dropped a 25-20 and 25-9 match to Morrill in the tournament.
