Banner County’s Courtney Knisley finished 89th at the state cross country meet held Friday in Kearney.
Knisley, a sophomore, finished the meet in 23:50.2. It was the second straight season that she competed at the state meet.
Haley Arens of Crofton won the individual girls Class D meet with a time of 19:29.4. She was followed by Dundy County-Stratton’s Madison Lambley in 19:44.8 and Doniphan Trumbull’s Madison Quist in third place in 20:12.1.
Crofton ran away with the team title, winning with 34 points. Next was Malcolm and Ainsworth, at 73 points each, followed by Oakland-Craig in fourth place and Aquinas Catholic in fifth place.
