Kimball County Manor Winter Olympics

The community within our community – the Kimball Manor residents – enjoy the "Winter Olympics" held on Jan. 21 in the manor's dining room. Scores were kept and medals were given to the top three contenders in each category. Other prizes were also given out, along with baked treats and drinks. Activity director, Jessica Rocha stays busy daily providing the residents with fun events to keep them active and entertained. Rocha invites anyone in our community who wishes to volunteer during the fun activities with the residents, to please contact her at the manor. The medal winners at the Olympics are: Ring Toss: first place June Garrett, second place Carolyn Fletcher, third place Gale Snell. Flying: first place Gale Snell, second place June Garrett, third place Leola Bohac. Cookie Curling: first place Carolyn Fletcher, second place June Garrett, third place Kathy Lewis. Bowling: first place Carolyn Fletcher, second place Gale Snell, third place Margaret Case. Bean Bag Toss: first place Gale Snell, second place Karlene Christiansen, third place Virginia Peterson. Shootout: first place Olive Erickson, second place Margaret Case, third place Martha Britton.
