Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Several local pool players were recently recognized for winning the Fall Session of the American Poolplayers Association (APA) 8-Ball and 9-Ball Pool Leagues.
Winning the Wednesday 8-Ball title was Line Em Up from Good Times in Kimball.
MVP awards went to Christina Culek, Stephanie Risk-McElroy and Roger Krafczik.
Taking the Thursday 9-Ball title was Double Trouble from Beer and Loathing in Kimball.
MVP awards went to Brad Johnson, Ryan McElroy and Roger Krafczik.
Brad Johnson also won the Western Nebraska APA Top Gun Award as the regions top male shooter in the 9-Ball format.
Winning teams each session advance to the Western Nebraska APA Team Championships to compete for trips to the APA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas.
The APA Pool League offers its members the opportunity to enjoy some fun and friendly competition with friends, family and co-workers. The League uses a copyrighted handicap and scoring system that helps insure players of all abilities, including beginners, can compete regardless of level of skill or experience.
