Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
The listings of this season’s Western Trails All Conference Basketball Teams were announced this week after voting by the conference coaches.
Kimball had three players named to the All Conference 1st Team with senior Danika Daum and sophomore Alex Reader named to the select All Conference Girl’s Team and junior Jordan Greenwood named to the All Conference Boy’s Team. Kimball also had senior Madison Biesecker and freshman Kate Reader given Honorable Mention for the girls and seniors Angel Flores and Trent Rutledge were Honorable Mention for the boys.
Josie Perez, a junior from Gordon-Rushville was named Most Valuable Player on the Girl’s All Conference Team while senior Quentin Baxter of Bridgeport received the same honor for the All Conference Boy’s Team.
Interesting to note that Miss Daum was the lone senior this year on the All Conference girl’s team along with seven juniors, two sophomores and one freshman.
