Raymond L Seeman, 71, of Troy, MT passed away Thursday April 14, 2016 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center of a sudden illness. He was born January 2, 1945 in Lewellen, NE to Charles E. Seeman and Marcella (Rouse) Seeman. Raymond grew up and attended school in Kimball, NE and graduated with the Class of 1962 from Kimball High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy serving for 6 years while stationed in Guam. After the Navy he served 4 years in the US Coast Guard in Port Angeles, WA and then spent the next 7 years with Fairchild Air National Guard In Spokane, WA.
On October 28, 1964, Raymond married Judy Petersen while stationed in Guam. They were blessed with two daughters, Shawna and Shelyn. In 1976, the family moved to northwest Montana where Raymond owned and operated Libby Office Equipment, worked as an aircraft and helicopter mechanic and was an engineer for Nortec, Inc. before retiring in 2011. Raymond was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, camping and fishing. He especially enjoyed taking the grandkids fishing! His other hobbies included fly tying, cooking, baking, gardening, photography and "tinkering" with electronics and computers. He was a loving husband, father and grandpa and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Judy Seeman of Troy, MT; daughters Shawna Davies and Shelyn Bray (Lynne) all of Seattle, WA; 4 grandkids Anna, Tommy, Emily and Cody; sister Barbara Bowling (Leroy) of Covington, OK; brother Roger Seeman of Kimball, NE. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother.
