Observations all along the line - Kimball & the Southern Panhandle First
Kimball took the top two individual places in winning the team championship at the Perkins County golf tournament held at Grant this past week scoring their low team score of the season of 319. Perkins County was 20 strokes back with 339 to finish runner up in the team standings.
Another individual win for Jordan Greenwood who took medalist honors with his round of 37-37=74. Jordan finished just one stroke better than freshman team mate Zane Anthony who shot his best career round of 39-36=75 to take second place. Kimball had three golfers in the top ten medal group as freshman Dillon Wise took 6th place honors with his round of 38-44=82 and has been a consistent top ten finisher all season. Izaac Reuter also had a good day breaking into the 80's with his round of 45-43=88, and Kole Bush shot 49-47=96. Andrew McCloud played in the JV Division and shot a very good round of 40-47=87.
A total of 72 players were in the field at Grant and 10 school had team scores. Kimball won with 319 followed by Perkins County with 339, Dundy County 347, North Platte St. Pats 363, Sutherland 364, Creek Valley 365, Garden County 379, Paxton 388, South Platte 395, Hershey 438, and Ogallala JV 451. Chase County did not have a team score.
