Danika Daum places a medal around Ali Hunsaker's neck during the 2016 Kimball High School commencement ceremony. Hunsaker, Kimball's Valedictorian, later returned the favor for Daum, Kimball's Salutatorian. The young ladies, who call one another best friend as well, each reminded fellow graduates, family and friends that while the ceremony marks the end of one journey, it is time for each of them to begin a new adventure.

The Banner County graduates pass a cut-out of a favorite class sponsor, Jeri Revelle, to one another throughout the ceremony. This sponsor became ill just prior to their senior trip and was unable to attend the commencement ceremony, as well. The cut-out was the class's way of keeping her close to them while she could not attend. Pictured from left are Megan Gifford, Garrett Grubbs, Chelsea Knisley, Abby Russell and Shay White.
