Honor Flight receives grand Kimball welcome

As always, the Honor Flight is escorted from their hometowns to the airport by local, county and state authorities as well as the Freedom Riders motorcycle group. Here the veterans can be seen being escorted into Kimball led by Kimball Police Captain Andy Bremer and several Freedom Riders.

Elizabeth Walls of Kimball greeted the Honor Flight veterans as they passed through Kimball on Thursday, June 9. Elizabeth, accompanied by her mom, Katie and her grandmother, Ruth Knicely, joined dozens of Kimball citizens to honor our nation's heroes.

Becky Schuddinck and her husband Maury passed flags out to those gathered on Chestnut.
