Minnie Lillian Lebruska was born on the family farm near Burwell, Nebraska on April 15, 1910, the daughter of John and Frances (Mach) Bruha. She was one of eight children and attended grade school but never had the luxury of attending high school because she was needed to help on the farm. In 1932 she married Anton 'Tony" Lebruska who was an immigrant from Czechoslovakia. He came to this country at the age of five with his parents. After their marriage, they lived and worked on various farms in Valley and Custer Counties. In 1950 they moved to a ranch in the Rocky Hallow area. In 1955 they moved to Kimball where they resided until the death of her husband in 1986. Minnie remained in her home until 2012 when health issues forced her to move into the Kimball County Manor. Her hobbies were sewing, gardening, baking, crocheting, quilting and tatting. She made her own dress patterns when she was a young lady.
Survivors include her children Bob (Kay) Lebruska of Powell, WY., Carolyn Wilson of Kimball, NE., and Helen McAdam of Casper, WY; sister Hattie Skala of Lincoln, NE; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, and infant sister, sister Emma Bilka, brothers Edward Bruha, Emanuel Bruha, Eldon Bruha, and William Bruha, sons-in-law Don McAdam and Kenneth Wilson.
