Nice weather and a well groomed golf course was pleasing to all golfers who applauded the efforts of Jeremy Williams and his staff for the preparation of having the course in excellent condition. Four Winds Pro Chad Wise and his staff also did their job in running the tournament in fine fashion and Tournament Directors, Pat O'Brien and Randy Bohac also made things go smoothly. The Thursday Men's League donated 14 flag prizes. The Panhandle Automotive Group donated the Hole-in-one prize both days on hole 6 but there was no winner. The Kimball cheerleaders offered food on the course both days as a money raiser. The Windbreak Restaurant furnished a fine buffet dinner Saturday evening for golfers and family.
Overall, it was once again a successful weekend for this favorite family type golf tournament with a traditional history, and this year's teams were a majority of all family member teams. Arne Christensen and Bob Barrett, two gentlemen who have been a big part of the Kimball Golf programs for many years were given special recognition as both passed away this past year and will be missed greatly.
